The mini splits can be set at a specific temperature and they will automatically heat or cool the room to that temperature.
Any house has to be maintained over time. One nice feature of AHF houses is that there is no wood on the exterior of the house which could lead to rotting or needing to be repainted. The outside walls have a metal siding.
The roof is metal with a 50-year warranty. Normally the roof will not have to be replaced when there is hail.
Affordable Home Foundation Inc. warrants the finished house for five years on materials and workmanship beginning from closing on the house. The warranty does not include normal wear and tear, acts of God, major remodeling by the homeowner or problems detected beyond the period of the warranty. Warranties on appliances and products installed in the house are based upon the manufacture’s warranties.
